99% think it is a joke of a fight.
It is the worst fight in recent memory. An absolute joke, but people don't like that to be said, as they want to hold on to the hope that old Audley has a semblance of a chance or that they might get a decent domestic showdown.

Waste of time and a waste of money for anyone who pays for it IMO, but I am not watching so will just say what I think.
That's because you're a miserable sod. Thousands of people will have an enjoyable night whatever the outcome.
See, I knew you would be the first to say that.

I'm a miserable sod because I would like to see Haye face better fighters more? It's beyond me why a world champ beating up a journeyman is considered a good night.

It is pointless. It serves no greater purpose. It is like watching Joe Calzaghe fight Manfredo, it just doesn't make any sense.

Oh, but lots of money! That's what I don't get, the public could be going for this, but for real boxing fans to be getting into it? That's just a bit sad.

It is a poor reflection on the British boxing public. They would probably get excited by a toothless granny in a tent.

Danny Williams V Mike Tyson was one of the best boxing experiences I've ever had as a viewer, total sham of a fight that Williams had no chance of winning, turned out 15 quid or whatever it was well spent.

Oh for sure, but how many 15 quid does it take to get one of those?

Its a hunch. Buying PPV is normally a masses thing, unless its a 5 fight Amir Khan PPV is generally worth it and we all go for it. Haye Harrison will be an event, Harrison will either get slaughtered or pull off a win, its not going to be a snoozefest.

Well then Audley has a great shot should Haye dislocate his knee cap.

I've rewatched a few Audley fights in anticipation of this. I used to have the belief that he was good never had the heart to take the necessary risks to be able to dominate an opponent. After re-watching some of his fights, i've come the conclusion that actually he isn't that good, and even if he did have heart and bottle, he'd only marginally be better than he already is.

His only shot is a Hail Mary. I'd absolutely love it if he won. His post fight interview would easily eclipse Tyson Fury's grammy acceptance speech.

    All aboard the A-Train. Woop-Woop.

Mate it doesnt even bare thinking about. He wanted to be hailed as the second coming for beating Danny Williams, can you imagine if he actually won a world title?

Perhaps Audley has already won? His post fight speech caused a disruption to the space time continuem and a worm hole opened allowing that old dear to go back to the 20's and appear in a Charlie Chaplin film?

What was so bad about that speech was he was looking straight down the camera and ignoring all the questions Jim Rosenthal was asking him. Basically anyone that doubted him he just fucked by beating a shot-to-shit Danny Williams who took the fight on a few days notice.

Please god don't let him hit the jackpot.

Exactly mate. It would be brilliant.

"My name is Audley, my name is Audley, Audley Money, Audley Money"

That's fucking talent right there. I think we all know he's already won......in life. We all fail in comparison, except from the time travelling man-girl from the 20's.

Real boxing fans enjoy the sport instead of moaning and groaning about everything.

You're right, you don't get boxing, you still can't grasp that money is king. It is a business. Fighters fight to earn as much money as possible. That's it.

The thing is with guys like you, if Audley does pull the upset you'll be making a hundred posts about how you knew Haye was shit/coward/fruad all along

Money is not king in my world, even if makes the sport your world. Good people aspire to more in life.

If Audley beats Haye that will be perfect, but I am not a fan of Audley and I despise Haye, so I doubt I will be posting all that much about it. Maybe I'll have a good laugh, but that's all one can say about such a fight.
