Yes, absolutely it does. If you take steroids then your taking illegal steps to better your prospects. If you load your gloves, it's done in one simple step. It's a cheaper than cheap shot.

its easier to invisage plaster in a glove and the extra damage that it can do, its hard to ever tell how much extra drugs can give a fighter, i dont think you can really compare the two but they are both cheating

Boxing could and should do a lot more to enforce anti-doping but regardless, the apparent lack of competence in boxing's anti-doping regime unfortunately cannot rightfully qualify the likes of me & you to judge in it's absence.

drug cheats are cheats, you cant exactly evaluate the advantage it gives you, but you get a big advantage

i am not sure, but if there is a difference, its very slight either way

let me give you an example

i have been weight lifting for a long time, i dont take steroids, kids come into our gym, much smaller than me, start a course of steroids, and from lifting considerably less than me start to lift more than me and are still smaller than me

these kids probably arent doing steroids properly, got their drugs from who knows who

a professional boxer you would expect to get the best drugs and administer them in the correct way and so get a better advantage than the kids in the gym

the advantage of a steroid user is massive, the advantage of someone with loaded gloves is massive, who knows which has teh biggest advantag but they are both cheating in a massive way
