that is the whole point. the game is brutal enough without people fighting with cement in their gloves. margarito shouldn't be joking about it putting people's lives in danger by fighting with cement-filled gloves. guy is a scumbag. milmas, you can still root for him, but he is a scumbag. i hope he is slaughtered.

one more thing, why is it when pacquiao was accused to using PED's, everyone believed him but when margarito says he didn't know his wraps were getting loaded, everyone calls him a liar, etc...there is a double standard concerning margarito and that's why i am defending him like i am.

You're talking about double standards when you're 100% sure Manny's taking PEDs even though he hasn't been proven guilty yet.
And no I'm not saying he's not taking PEDs. In fact, the major consensus here in the forums when the whole PED thing started was manny and his team were acting suspiciously when they tried making numerous excuses. Hell, a lot of Filipinos including myself thought his excuses were pretty lousy. You're just jumping to conclusions here. Defending Margo is one thing but blind devotion to someone who seems happy to destroy what little rep he's got left for a lot of people here is another.

Was happy to just read through this thread for a bit of enjoyment, but that is just utter crap.... I just did a poll like a week ago and most people either think Pac must be guilty, or at least have serious doubts about him..... So to say everyone believes he's innocent just cause he's Pac is crap... Margarito was found guilty and suspended.. There is a difference.. And watching them make a giant joke for over a minute about putting sh!t in the gloves is retarted..

I don't really get personally offended by anything, but I once beleived in Margarito and respected him above most fighters.. Unfortunatley the hand wrap thing changed that, but i'm still willing to accept that he did his time and is back...

But it's still not a joke that he was walking into a boxing ring and potentially doing serious damage to someone through illegal means...
It's the same theory if someone has gone to jail for raping someone then a year after they are out, pretending to rape someone on camera and making a joke of it... Or someone shooting someone then pretending to shoot someone once they are out...

Regardless, if he did this in his own time with no camera's on him then I or no one else here would give a shit... But he's on camera to an enormous amount of people, and whether he gives a crap about them or his image or not doesn't matter, just rise above the crap and show you deserve some respect other than that of what you earn in the ring....

That's just my opinion, no need to argue as I don't expect or wish everyone to have the same opinion as me.... But with every person who does share my view, it goes 1 person further to proving Margarito is being a plonker...
