So how the hell is this a light middleweight fight if Pacquiao isnt even a full blown welterweight? So if for example, Bernard Hopkins wanted to challenge David Haye for the Wba heavyweight title, could he weigh in a 180lbs - and if he won, would he be considered a heavyweight champ. To me , Pacman should be obligated to weigh in , at the light middle weight boundaries
The third Duran Leonard fight had both boxers weighing in at Middleweight even though they fought for the Super middleweight title.

And Leonard and Lalonde fought for the Light Heavyweight title even though they both weighed in under the Super Middleweight limit, which they also boxed for.

The more serious question about this fight should be "What did Margerito do to earn his high ranking with the WBC?"
