OH! MY! GOD!
Hahaaa!!! Tiiiiiimmmmbbbbbeerrrrr!!!
In a dickish way I wish Paul was wearing those elton john glasses and got to see them fly across ring...ok I'm done. Cheers Williams. Hope people want to fight you now
Meh he serves the $$$ I mean shit he fucked cintron up, got robbed, then went tooth and nails with williams and got the short end of the stick, jacks pavlik up, and now ktfo pwil in 2...I'd say he's due for some $$$, who knows even a gimme fight.
Didn't see that coming. But you could see the setup. In that 2nd round Paul was getting hit by huge straight lefts, two times the crowd awed. And then boom that was it.
But when I heard what the plans were at the beginning of the fight it was sort of prophetic.
They said Martinez said he was gonna come out aggressively, and look for the knockout. And that Williams said that Martinez would have his track shoes on and would be doing the chasing.
And that's exactly how he fought, he went forward leaving himself open in ways as if he wasn't expecting Martinez to stand his ground. So in essence, his strategy was to go right at Martinez and chase him, which played right into what Martinez wanted because he was looking for the knockout.
Question: Do any of you American's have any interest in watching that Capitals - Penguins 24/7? I can't wait for it, even though I dislike both teams.
i would just like to take this moment to thank Spicoli for the wonderful rd by rd.![]()
Damn I'm a little bummed it didnt go longer, but that has to be KO of the year. Williams really left himself open on that one, and it landed perfectly. I think he probably fights Pavlik now? Martinez going to super middleweight would be interesting.
I hope kats jmm don't end this quick.
I don't think fighting a power-puncher like Pavlik is a great idea after getting brutally KO'd by a relatively light punching fighter. IMO he needs at least one tune-up fight after what just happened to him. Then again, beating Pavlik would be a great way to get his confidence back. For what it's worth, I think Pavlik stops him. I felt the same way when the fight was first proposed a year ago, I just think Williams is too open and too sloppy defensively.
