Question: Do any of you American's have any interest in watching that Capitals - Penguins 24/7? I can't wait for it, even though I dislike both teams.

Are you talking about hockey? That's a dead sport in the US. Even boxing isn't that dead in the US yet.

Yeah, it's dead in most of the States. New York, Boston, and Chicago are probably the strongest markets at the moment I guess, but Bettman has run the game into the ground int he States.

Rangers Fan here, and even though I try to get my friends into hockey... i wont be watching a 24/7 on ovie the kneecapper vs. skidmark sid and the diving penguins.

Hey, it aint our fault the cup hasn't been back to Canada since. You can blame bettman for that one. whats with all the riots whenever a Canadian team loses an important game?

I don't give a fuck about the Cup coming to Canada, I hate all the other Canadian teams except for Ottawa. I cheered against both Edmonton and Calgary when they lost to American teams and Detroit and Boston are my 2nd and 3rd favorite clubs.

As for the rioting, Vancouver was full of yahoo's and nutjobs in 1994 and it still is today, there's a small segment of the population that just ruins things for everyone else. And as for Montreal, I'd guess it's pretty much the same thing.

Yeah, I had a lady in Ottawa that was a sens fan. They're haven't been the same since Chara left. Edmonton is like a personal bargain bin.. Sather brought a free garbage for garbage pipeline from Edmonton. I haven't like Calgary since Fleury left. Gotta love the way detroit builds a team. Boston is a rival but I would like to see Thomas get a cup before retirement. I just hate the wuss league bettmas created, with this posterboy bull$hit....The riots are funny though, the first thing you guys burn is always a cop car. lol

Yeah, Detroit is one of the best run teams in all of sports. I started watching them when I was a kid because of Yzerman (still my all-time favorite player) and it was amazing to watch them go from a laughing-stock to the model franchise. I still have a soft spot for them, except when they are playing the Canucks (aka Chicago's bitches).
