I like Williams, he just needs to learn how to use his physical attributes better, and learn some defence. He can still fight his way back up the P4P list though, doubt he's still top 10 as that was a pretty devastating loss.

Yes he is; but the up and down in weight is not good so I hope he finds a weight class that he is comfortable with and sticks with it. And I think he should stay away from power punching southpaws because he gets caught with the left quite often see also the 1st Quintana fight. 154 is a good weight for him and he should fight a few tuneups to see where he is at mentally after that ko. Anthony Mundine or Sergio Mora would be a great place to start over.

If there is a boxing God he bounces back against Mora, traps him in a corner and goes brutal windmill on him.

This is an excellent thread.....just a shame it's at all necessary. Anyone and that means anyone can get laid out same as p will did yesterday. Peoples overfacination and concern with fighters that are undefeated is one of the main things keeping good match ups from happening. It's all too common for people the hype a guy, watch his 24/7's, go on and on online how he'll do this and that. Just to have thier fighter loose then all of the sudden he's past his prime, old, washed up etc less than 24 hours from when people were layin hard earned money on the guy. Williams is still bad ass, i doubt too many people will still jump at the chance to fight the guy.

Honestly, Paul Williams needs one thing: Emmanuel Stewart. He's a top athlete, he has all the tools but the best one out there for his attributes is Manny, Williams is exactly the kind of fighters he likes: tall, lanky with a long range. That's all he needs.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends

Granted, but Manny is working with Cotto and Andy Lee...it might be too much for him to add in Williams with that group, but he has the physical traits of a Manny Steward fighter.
