All I got from that post was that you said you enjoy a good war because of the drama and action. So I take it as meaning you want a war to happen for your amusement. It ain't no amusement for the parties involved, to them I'm pretty sure it's not fun and games filled with great drama and action. But hey whatever floats your boat homey.
I don't know man. I mean lets look at the most harrowing, destructive war of them all World War 2. You can't tell me that for literally millions of those who lived through, and even fought through that war that it wasn't in some ways the defining, maybe even the greatest times of their lives in some sense.

The pride they felt fighting against the enemy. The comoradarie and brotherhoods that were formed. The sense of unity for a common purpose, the belief that they were fighting for something that mattered.

Don't misunderstand me. I'm not saying they are glad the war happened or attempting to trivialise it. But as humans we define ourselves by our wars. They form the critical periods of our history.

This sight, of which you are a member, is dedicated to that noble art of punching another man into submission.

It is fascinating for all of us. Hell you even started the thread with the word's 'Things are about to get interesting', not harrowing or tragic, or appalling, but interesting.

You're the same as me buddy. You may argue against it, but when it comes to it, you will turn on the tv, and log onto to the same interent reports as me, probably buying the Electronic Arts videogame of the conflict to come and playing it on your PS4 in a couple years time, all the while knowing that you yourself deplore war, and the tragedy that ensues.

I think you're steering off course here. When I said "things may get interesting" in the sense that this can lead to something bigger with serious ramifications and what they are we do not know yet, not something that I'm going to get a kick out of and thinks it's cool in a "hey that's pretty interesting" kind of way.

As for people fighting in wars, yes the experience for some defines them but also for many not in a good way. And all that drama and action for many is inherently negative. Yes I may buy that violent game and I may even watch a violent movie or watch a violent sport such as boxing, but to me those are not rooted in the realities of this world, they are just forms of entertainment. In your original post, it seems you were giddy with the prospect of war happening because there will be action and drama as you said, so I interpreted it as you seeing a war as good entertainment. But hey even if you see war in that light, then that's you. As I've said, whatever floats your boat.
