It was an excellent display and Froch showed a lot of maturity. We have seen Taylor go in there trying to jab and the frustration at hitting the guard all night along with his stamina issues was telling. Dirrell did better, but too began to wilt. It seemed that Abraham could simply wait you out and when he wanted to batter you he would, but in this fight Froch added that bit more. He punched harder than the other two and made sure the guard was split and if it wasn't then he hit around the guard. He always maintained that distance, which was smart. The best thing for me was the early body work. It was so accurate that even Abraham couldn't protest about it. As the rounds accumulated instead of Froch being the one to wilt, it was Abraham who wilted because Froch had taken the life out of him. He started in the shell and stayed there, there was practically no solid offense from Abraham until the last round.

It was an exceptional performance. He studied the tapes and moved it to the next level. The blueprint for Abraham has been worked out and now demonstrated. He will never be the same at the elite level again.
