I think Khan stops him by accumulation in 8. Maidana has a shot, but nowhere near a 50/50 shot. Probably more like 70/30 in Amir's favour.

A disciplined Khan wins this one all day long for me - but at last he is in with a puncher and if Maidana lands it could be a career ender, so it will be exciting for that reason.

As long as Maidana is in there he will know he can KO him - but I don't think Khan is stupid enough to lose focus again (although I do think he is stupid in general terms).

For me its Khan by lopsided UD or maybe late stoppage as Maidana tires and the punches accumulate.

In conclusion - come on Maidana !!!!

I can see all kinds of outcomes. I can see Maidana rushing him and stopping him. I can see Khan outboxing him to a wide UD, or possible late stoppage via accumulation, or i can see an early stoppage win for Khan. If Maidana is as wide open as he was against Ortiz early on, Khan will have him out of there.

It's a very interesting match-up. Khan deserves credit if he wins this. I don't think he will get it because it will be easier to point at Maidana's faults, before listing 5 fighters who'd beat Khan

If AK fights smart he will win if for some reason he allows himself to get in a slugfest he will get sparked.....Though we all know Khan has power of his own that is nothing to sneeze at
so he could catch Maidana with a crisp shot to stop him as well.....

I say this fight all depends on Khan himself ,,,,,Box smart win....get into it w him taking too many chances...and then it becomes a 50/50....If that made any sense

It's a great match-up. Ultra skilled chinny boxer vs relentless banger. Maidana could win this fight even on the verge of getting stopped himself.

(Maidana is around a 5/2 shot, so if you think it's 50/50 lump on him )

Khan's speed and movement should get him through to a quite easy night. Maidana ONLY has a punchers chance. 50/50 is not even close

    Oddschecker has

    Khan 4/11 (-275)

    Maidana 11/4 (+275)

    Draw 40/1 (+4000)

TBH those odds seem too close to me, as I will be shocked if this is competitive.
Still all that being said Maidana has earned this shot and does have a chance albeit an extremely slim one.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

I see Khan outboxing Maidana's ears off. But can he do it through 12 rounds without getting caught with a big wallop? That is the big question. Maidana is one tough motherf - he will not be easy to break down, and he's not just a typical brawler, he's got boxing skills too.

Yes imo, the fight is 50/50.

Khan in theory should be able to outbox and beat maidana pretty easy but i thought the same about ortiz. The only hype worse than khans is that of khan and his team trying to hype maidana as some great fighter and obstacle. I don't dislike khan but man from getting laid out five minutes ago by a nobody to the so so so tired and old "i can beat floyd too where do i grab a number and stand in line ? " doesn't make sense to me. Khan has won and been building himself back up just as he should but how people have him rated so high i don't get. But loosing has done nothing but good for margarito so who knows. Maybe a loss to maidana gets him a title shot. Would make no sense in mma but perfect sense in boxing.....

Maidana has an AA chance in beating Froch. A PUNCHERS' CHANCE. I would love to see Khan win and go on to fight Alexander(if he defeat Bradley).

    Im going with Khan UD

but Maidana have all 36 mins to land a big one that could decide the fight. Khan's chin is quite a baby againts a puncher of Maidana's caliber.

Maidana's fucked and Khan's chin has held up to the three power shots he took. He was hurt early, but recovered fine.

Khan will get credit if he wins. Actually, I'm giving him credit either way if he wins or loses because he is facing a puncher.
