Pac should fight the winner of Bradley/Alexander. Whoever wins that fight is firmly a top 10 p4p figther. And as someone said, it meets all the requirements. Undefeated, prime, top 10 p4p.

Mosley is severely washed up, he looked like crap in his last 5 or 6 fights besides the Margarito fight.

Berto is by far the biggest risk... His hands are faster and he has pop in his punches, I can see Manny taking 4-5 punch combo's and getting beat to the punch.

Pac is an amazing guy no doubt, put the last few step up in weight fights were definetly the low hanging fruit to be picked.. Get used to it because its been that way and will continue to be that way until Floyds legal woes are gone.

Has anyone stopped to think that Mosley turns 40 in 2011? He has no chance against Pacquaio. I can understand a 3rd Marquez fight considering the first two were so good, but let's put Shane Mosley into perspective here. If people genuinely think Mosley still has what it takes then why not fight Martinez? The big loser here is boxing as this game of cat and mouse between Pacman and PBF continues.

Maybe they were deceptive as to how much he's deteriorated as Mora has a very difficult style to look good against and Floyd is capable of making very good fighters look ordinary, but still he hasn't earned this shot since his last mega fight by winning and forcing his way back into ther reckoning. There are other guys like Berto, JMM and the guys at 140 that are options and have been winning lately that are more deserving of a shot IMO. A Berto fight would interest me but I'd rather JMM 3
I sort of agree with the statement in bold. Mora beat Vernon in an ugly fight, he has a tendency to make people look bad. That's his style. Plus Shane should have got the "W" in that fight. And Mayweather is Mayweather, who does look against him? I still say Tim Bradley, once he beats Devon Alexander, is the best option until Marquez proves himself above 135.
I can see the argument for Marquez having to prove himself at 147. If he just jumped up there and was soundly beaten by Pac then the detractors would be able to say "well Marquez is ineffective above 135." So I agree with your point about an ideal situation being Marquez having a "box-off" with Mosley to fight Pacquiao. Personally I don't see Marquez as being ineffective above 135 so I wouldn't have a problem with him signing to fight Pacquiao at 147, but there would be less criticisms leveled at Manny if Marquez fought and won at that weight beforehand.

In the meantime, both Berto and Bradley are good potential opponents. Bradley still has business at 140 after Alexander which may stop this fight happening early next year, though he wouldn't turn down the opportunity if it came his way to take Pacquiao before the Maidana-Khan winner.
How about just having Pac fight th # 1 contender ? What happened to tradition ? Same ol slick match making ! Have him fight a older headliner , who is not so agile, and coming off a loss in one of his last three fights at a catch weight..... look at the records of his recent opponents ans see my point.

Bradly, Alvarez, Berto, Khan, Maidana lots of younger options. At what point does Pac offer up an opportunity to an up an comer as he was many years ago ? Based on his past he had no business being matched VS MAB .... we all know what happened then !

Actually the Khan - Maidan loser will qualify as does Mosley,

Considering his #1 for the WBO WW title is Kell Brook maybe facing the #1 isn't such a good idea. Alvarez is no where near ready to fight Pacquiao yet and Khan won't as they both train out of the same gym. So from your list that leaves Maidana (could well be coming off a loss by then) and Berto and Bradley, both of whom who are good opponents. IMO Mosley shouldn't get it - but most probably will because he'll be the most lucrative opponent financially, which is what it will all undoubtedly come down to
