Welcome back BoomBoom. You certainly weren't alone back then in thinking ODLH was gonna massacre Pac. Most of us did. Now basically he's ripped through the ww division and are nothing but threads explaining/arguing about him being over matched against all these dudes, or the opponent was this, or that....haha. or he cheats, or negotiates with an edge, or, or....What a diff. a bit of time makes. Could you imagine anyone even suggesting he could beat Cotto and Marg back then? You woulda got laughed out of here. Oh wait, did you suggest that? lol jk man.

    Good to see you back.

Thanks, good to be back. Were really just a bunch of junkies at the end of the day and always come back...My take on Pacquiao and people who criticize his opposition is this: He was Great before moving up in weight. Everything he has done lately has been a bonus. his opposition has been very good also. Oscar, Cotto, Clottey, Hatton, Margarito, just three years ago if you asked just about anyone how pac would fair against them most would say Pac would go 1-4 or even 0-5. but he hasnt even lost 5 rounds. Its not just that he beat them, its how he beat them. People forget Clottey, Cotto, and Margarito were the top of the division not long ago and all struggled against each other. Manny dominated all of them. Floyd retired to avoid fighting these guys.
