Reminds me of Roy Jones. It was quite a shock when he lost his first fight by KO. After that, his chin got exposed and look what happened in his other loses.
That and the guy will just have a mental problem accepting a punch from now on...he'll get clipped, he'll panic, the adrenaline will start pumping, and when he gets to the fight or flight reaction, his body is just going to give up on him and the next thing you know he'll be covering up, trying to run away, or trying to tie up his opponent.

The loss will have a big affect on Paul because he had taken pride in his chin for many years, he had bragged about sparring with Glenn Johnson et al and taking their best shots....now in my opinion he'll have to overhaul his entire fighting style because he's not going to like getting hit anymore (not that he was thrilled about it to begin with, but he accepted it well).

Of course, then again he could recover just fine from this, but I really don't see that happening

He needs a new trainer to turn the corner on that KO. He's needed a new trainer since the Margarito fight, in my opinion. I wouldn't be surprised to see Manny Steward stalk him like he did Cotto if the punisher is looking to make a change. Perhaps trying to reinvent the Tommy Hearns. Not as much one punch power, but more active.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.
