    No, I didn't say that. I said a strong warning would have been perfectly justified. I also agreed that if Khan had been hit then a point deduction had some justification. I also agree with you that if Khan was hit and cut in some way as to discontinue the fight, then a DQ would be acceptable.

    But it was nothing and therefore we should had a fight rather than the Cortez show.

    These are not particularly outrageous viewpoints to have.

    What happens then if Cortez gives him a "strong warning" but he does it again, this time elbowing Khan, or Cortez, unconcious?

    Cortez would have been at fault for not getting to grips with a blatant dirty elbower when he initially attempted the vicious assault.

    That would be quite unlikely though. In fact, I think this debate has run its course.

    If you don't want points deducted don't attempt serious blatant fouls. Especailly don't elbow the ref. The end.
