    Hes a good fighter
    Since when? Based on what?
Well he took James DeGale 9 rounds.

Being British champ means you're pretty good surely?

I though it was an excellent performance. Never been too fussed on the bloke but am coming round to being a fan of his as a fighter.

In all seriousness to beat someone of Smith's calibre after just 8 fights is impressive. There are few British fighters who have achieved that level of victory so early in their career and not gone on to be a world champ.

I could see him picking up a supermiddleweight belt within the next 18 months.

I think the division will be pretty empty by then, Froch, Ward, Bute will likely all be at 175 and DeGale will be well placed to take over.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Smith the same cat who I believe fought and lost on the undercard of I believe it was Con-Gomez against some bum who had been knocked out every time stepped up? I'm also positive it was him. And I stand by my statement. Smith is not that good
