Jeffries is fighting a 37 year old with a 4-3 record who's only fought twice since 2005

He needs a good performance after last time, but Maloney's not doing a good job moving him along. He's a good lad and I hope he does well, but the level of competition needs to improve soon.

Bit of an odd night for the show to be on, but it should be good fight

Jeffries has been exposed already IMO. no way he makes it anywhere near the top. He gets hit way way too easy and has some stamina issues too to go with it.

Lindsay Simpson should be a great fight though. Anyone any ideas why the hell this fight is on a wednesday?

TBH I've never been overly impressed with him, but I always thought he'd be good at domestic or Euro level. It doesn't look promising when you look at the level of fighters he's currently mixing it with and compare it to the other Olympians that turned pro at the same time. He's been out training with Tommy Brooks so maybe we'll see some improvements. He's looked very average in a few of his fights already and I think all that optimism people had up here about him's died down quite a bit lately

They've done it before with a few shows on Sky. God knows why, but it breaks up the week quite nicely anyway.

    Looking forward to this one.

There is nothing else on Wednesday not even Corrie now, so will watch it.
