Did anyone notice that ITV commentator, Rossentile (spelling) was sitting next to Warren. Does that mean that ITV may be getting back into boxing? Or is it wishful thinking on my part?

I spotted Jim there as well, but from my understanding he and Warren are friends anyway....they were both dining together then included in a lawsuit against Heston Blumenthal's restaurant when over 100 people got food poisoning.

That Terry Marsh will try to get Warren any way he can.

Degale impressed me against Smith, thought it might have been a lot tougher for him. I love Groves, but the last two fights for both have made Degale the favourite .... I just can't stand the bloke outside of the ring, he's got the talent so why act the tw@t all the time. Don't know why him and his team trash talk Groves, it's embarrassing

I'd love to see him lose, but he's proving that his arrogance has some backing

I guess you have missed Groves comments over the years about De Gale?

I've heard Groves comments, but it's always come across to me that Degale's have been more personal and he's bitter about the amatuers ... I've always been under the impression that they were mates until then and Degale started throwing his toys out of the pram and Groves has just responded to that

Too be fair, I'm biased as I can't stand Degale out of the ring. It's even when he fronted Smith after the first round in Liverpool, it's just classless

De Gale and Groves have never been mates.

Fair enough, just going by comments I listened to from their trainers at Dale Youth, that it wasn't till Groves was treading on Degale's toes that it got a bit mitch

Groves v Degale needs to wait, they can both move on to bigger and better things and then their paths will cross ant the world stage and we can have a Benn v Eubanks v Watson rivalry.

Who'd be the third link in that three way rivalry? After the Olympics it was looking like being Jeffries, but he's gone up a division. Doesn't really appear to be anyone made for that role at the moment.

From what I've heard, they were never mates, the impression I've got from the few guys who've boxed outta there that I know is that DeGale is the more popular. I met him years ago as kids at the Trojan & he seemed cool although obviously people change as they get older. But I don't get why he gets this arrogant tag yet Groves who comes out with all the same stuff doesn't

Nice to see Groves going out to Vegas again in Feb .... I think you're right, they should both wait and let it build, but what is the deal after they both won the eliminators?

As for arrogance, Degale is getting worse flak probably because he is the olympic gold and too be fair, more people know him than Groves. I think a lot of people see Degale and think what a tit, and then hear about Groves being his closet contender and then back him

Degale will win people over the more he boxes rather than talks .... I always get the impression that Groves is replying to Degale and I've never heard Groves get very personal with Degale, whereas Degale is. The first time I heard Degale mention Groves I thought I hope that Groves nails him.

    Great for British boxing though

i used to think it would be close, after both of their last 2 performances I'd say groves wasnt quite ready
I do agree,as much as it pains me to say....There something i just don't like about degale and george comes across as a decent fella in my opinon.
Degale's been looking like a potential world beater while george has struggled but come through.

I think grove's should avoid him for now and fight him,When he has a few more fights under he's belt....I do rate george highly thou.

I think Degale takes him any time tbh, I like Groves and wish him well but Degale seems to just have that extra power and nastiness thats needed at top level.
