Really bad result, cannot afford to bat like that again in this series. Big time momentum shift right now.

Here we go again. Pitch looking fairly docile so far, but Watson was absolutely gagging to get out today. Third time and he's out for five. Reasonable start, but although the English bowlers getting something out there not too much. Slow run rate too, thinking maybe a bit of sleep might be overtaking me, been awake for around 18 hours now after my big shift today.

We are kicking their motherfucking arses! What a great performance! Bowled them out for under a hundred and now the openers have put together a century partnership. We look fantastic and the Aussies just can't do a thing. Spectacular.

It's a bit shocking really, if it carries on like this the match will be over within 3 days.

I think I stayed awake to 50 or 60 something for four, then my eyes betrayed me and I ended up fast asleep. Nice figures to wake up to though. Ricky Ponting, this song is for you:

We are looking pretty grand right now. If we can build up a lead of 600 we will have 2 and a half days to bowl them out and no way they will be able to reach that score in a second innings. Half their batsmen look shot tbh. Ricky Ponting as the captain has been exceptionally poor with the bat.

It seems like it really was another batting pitch as our boys haven't had much trouble with it, but it seems the Aussies are having a crisis of confidence, and once one or two things start going wrong, they all seem to lose heart.

I would just like to tempt fate by being the first on this thread to congratulate England on retaining the Ashes!

I think so, only weather of the English kind can stop this!

Here we go then, Aussies in to bat first for the final test. I think England really want to take this one to win it in style, because the Aussies really don't deserve to come out of this series with a draw. Hopefully, the boys can bowl em out by the end of today and we can rattle up some fine scores to bring the urn back in the style to which it has not been accustomed!

We bowled pretty well today, just a shame the rain stole so many overs. If we can get them out for around 250 I think we will have a fair shot. The Aussies need to do some serious rebuilding after this series is done, definitely the end of Ponting as captain and likely the end of him as batter too. I don't know why he is hanging on in the teams dressing room. You are out old man, go home!

I went to bed and it was around 100-1 I think, so must admit that waking up to a score of 134-4 is good times. I think getting them out for 250 would be decent miles, and then our batsmen can tear them up. In theory.

The time difference really sucks for you. Same for me whenever the tests are over there. I get up and have my breakfast and listen to the cricket whilst catching up on the news. It's ideal!

Another decent day, but we let their tail get away. Doesn't matter as we have reeled them back in with some decent batting, but could have been a tad better. 250 all out was well within reach. Not a disaster by any means though.
