I hope this scenario doesn't happen but I could totally see the WBA title holder having a decent sized fight and then slinking off into quasi retirement a la Floyd Mayweather Jr.

I hope the fight happens because I know if it does Wlad is going to demolish him.

I'd even up a sig bet on this. Not only do I think Haye will win, but I think he'll stop him before the 2nd half of the fight. I really don't think Wlad is a special fighter. What he does is simple. He jabs...and holds when anyone gets close. I'll admit that he's smart, and uses his advantages, but for me he's not in the same league as his big brother. Haye picks his shots, and will be too quick for Wlad working in and out in bursts.

i wouldn't really call Haye anything special either, he gets hit, he doesn't have much variety in his punches and his movement is a bit weak, any top HW from the last 30 yrs would have sparked him, Wlad and Vitali are no exception and i believe both will do it with ease and later get no credit

For me, Haye has better speed, better movement and better variety in his punches and can adapt better to situations mid-fight.

see that's the thing, Wlad DOES have variety of punches he just never has to use them, his jab is outstanding, he has a killer right hand, an excellent left hook, and pretty damn good uppercuts, how many times have you seen Haye hook off of his jab or throw an uppercut right off of his jab?

it's gonna be brutal, and Haye is gonna retire due to "injury"

Its funny we wouldn't even think haye has a chance I think if he didn't talk himself up so much. Wasn't sultan supposed to be pretty fast, powerful and semi elusive, that's at least how I remember it. He got his face hammered for 10 rounds, sam was going to knock wlad into oblivion well he put him down 3 times and still lost convincingly, brock kod in 7, ruslan 9, I don't think haye is any better than those 4 guys with the exception of sam. Really if you look at wlads losses the only one he has a chance of duplicating is what sanders did to wlad and that was the old wlad, because the other 2 fights that wlad lost his opponents took massive punishment that haye just wouldn't be able to absorb before getting to wlad. I think he losses to either brother but wlad would actually ko him, while vitali would tko him.

I guess you don't think Wlad opened up on Sam Peter early enough. Wlad dint "go for broke" but he didn't hold back much, he didn't wait to land the right he just went out there and threw it....hooks and uppercuts too. But then again Sam has a solid chin.

I keep telling you Manny Steward sees the heavyweight landscape devoid of talent and he's going to push Wlad to fight in a style closer to how he used to fight.

I rarely ever miss a championship match but Mr. Haye is a mystery to me because I have never seen one of his fights and from what I am hearing his opponents have a lot to be desired in ability and draw power. My question is what is his record like and what are his chances as a part holder of the heavyweight title. Once again, I never saw him fight before so please, a description of his style and why should the Klitschko brothers be interested in negotiating when he allegedly backs out all the time. This is written by someone that happened to be elsewhere every time Hayes fought.

haye is a pretty pathetic heavyweight champion, i mean he beat valuev (one of the worst heavyweight title holders ever) then defends against john ruiz (nuff said) then against audley harrison (ha ha) come on its hayes mouth that is making people believe he can beat wlad or vitali. now i might be wrong & haye might be a legit heavyweight but i think put him in a ring with a very mediocre fighter & he looks good & exciting i can see him getting off the floor a few times against wlad then referee stepping in & getting ko'd by vitali.

From the Klitschko's perspective Haye has the WBA belt which they want to add to their collection and world domination. In a way I am glad they have not had everything their own way.
