your success is probably based on the fact that a southpaw causes a mental disruption to a lot of guys that don't fight lefty's all that often. bet you straight left is less powerful and the right hook feels awkward. you can train yourself to be a left hand fighter, it takes a few weeks to adjust but work your footwork first or you will always be getting stepped on or tripped up.also your coach will yell at you till you switch back. most coaches want rights to fight orthodox and lefts to do the same(ideally) . if you take a serious blade art like Kali, they switch between the two constantly, this may be good but a lot slower to learn than the boxing.again i can't stress how badly you need to work the footwork. watch the tape Kali Tudo to see how its done.
