If this is like an estate where the houses cost 12 million dollars each (as mentioned above) how close can the houses be to eachother? You would have thought if you were paying that much you would have a hell of a lot of space to yourself? Dude... where are you from? Gated HOA's are not exclusive to multi-millionaires. In fact, the one that Floyd belongs to has homes selling in the $400k-$500K range. People can also join the clubs belonging to associations and not own a home there, but not at the one Floyd belongs to if your wondering. I've lived in mostly gated communities, some with guards and some without guards, over the past 15 years and I'm not close even close to being a multi-millionaire.
