I think the decision to not withold pay was down to fear of being taken to court. Besides if they did then Khans 53 second effort against Prescott would be brought into question.

yes but Khan blatently got tagged hard by Prescott that wasnt no dive, he just got plain KTFO. Audley didnt even try when he was in there Amir came straight on the offensive and got caught clean. Audley was just trying to survive without giving any effort and when he got caught he got out of there as quick as possible cos hes a faggot!

In fairness to Audley he stood up to more punches than most people thought he would. The fight also went longer than most thought AND he was able to stop Haye from being aggressive for 2 rounds. Haye was a world champ whereas Prescott was an unknown Columbian who has since proven he is no good. Of the two I think Amirs was more shameful.

Haye admited after the fight though that he could have had him out earlier but a lot of his friends had money on the third round. Haye knows for a fact he could have had him out in the first he just decided to make it last for a bit longer due to all of us muppits paying 15 quid for box office. Prescott is a dangerous puncher weather he be a good fighter or not. If Prescott caught any fighter at 135 flush they would go down. Khan didnt know his power and at the time he thought he was unbeatable, he went out in the middle of the ring to try and knock him out due to his arrogance. His arrogance cost him the fight and he got KTFO, there wasnt any shame in getting caught by a power puncher. If Khan was to rematch Prescott now he would change the game plan to win I have no doubt. Harrison however if he fought Haye again would have no different game plan because he cant produce a different game plan because he is shit ! this is why he got KTFO and didnt deserve the fight in the first place. Even though he got the shot he should have at least thrown more than one punch! this is why I believe he doesnt deserve his purse cos he didnt even try. Where was his boxing killer instinct which fighters have? He had a shot at the world heavyweight title and not everybody gets that and he didnt even have the effort to try and take the title from Haye. I didnt pay for the fight and think the people that did got what they deserved. Everyone knew exactly what we were gonna get with Audley so for the BBBC to talk about witholding his purse having sanctioned the fight themselves is joke. The public humiliation Audley continues to face should suffice. Cant withold pay though because then every fight would have to be reviewed to see if a fighter gave 100% in order to be consistent and so that adds to the farce boxing is rapidly becoming. You say Khan got beat by a puncher but is Haye not a puncher? Audley is awful always has been and always will be but he turned up for his job. His pay cheque wasnt performance related and he wasnt working on commission. The BBBC knew this and didnt wana risk getting taken to court knowing they didnt have a leg to stand on.

Dont want to defend Audley because it was a terrible effort but this wise after the event stance people have taken having bought into the hype is a joke. The people that made the fight are responsible. Audley was out of his depth and a lamb to the slaughter. He never stood any chance.
