    Conciousness is everything in boxing, maintain conciousness otherwise you'll lose conciousness.. ba! da! bum!! ... lol sorry guys couldnt help it ive been dying to make a joke on conciousness for weeks now, haha .

    Scrap and the gang pretty much got it.... but one thing any combination puncher I have ever witnessed has that most other fighters even ones who threw good combinations when they wanted was....Being Fluid....The punches just come off without thinking...They don't need to hear throw a 2, 4, 6...or whatever number the trainer advises them of in the corner they just let it go without even thinking of it......Ali was the best at this as was Robsion....Joe Calzaghe was a great combination puncher he threw his short hooks etc without ever hesitation....Almost as if he did not know how to throw 1 at a time......Practice paRCTICE PRACTICE

    I want to add that you must breath and stay relaxed. Its easy to say but really hard to do.

    All great points in here.

    Timing too, knowing the opponents timing so you can count and shoot up the openings in between his moves or follow arms back.
