That's tough, I know what you mean... I can't use a heavy bag anymore because my wrists are really screwed... At one stage I was thinking of doing some massage courses and maybe getting a qualification and doing massage part time, but i've found I don't have the wrists for it anymore.
Back before I knew what I was doing, i'd bought a heavy bag and originally used bare fists, but then had some really poor gloves and after using it for about 6 months, my wrists began getting incredibly painful when I put any weight on them.... I did the best thing I could think of and completely gave it up to put zero stress on my wrists, but even after a year I was still needing to take pain killers for the agony my wrists were in just typing at work...
They have gotten much better now, and if I wrap my hands real good and strap on the Cletos properly I can use the bag a little bit, but anything past an enthusiastic level and my wrists screw up... Think I have girl wrists or something.....
Seriously hope your knee heels up and maybe it's just a temporary niggle, and not the future result of every attempt at playing football..
