I read a slew of posts last week that said Alexander has taken to man head shots and is or sounds slurring and punch drunk I laugh because people from that part of the US have that sort of drawl to them.. The kid is a baby let him fight 20 more years and then accuse him of sounding like Holyfield.. Also contrary to popular belief not all boxers sound articulate like literary genuises :-P Any How I do believe Alexander is the better balanced fighter of skill, chin, power than Bradley. I also think that Bradley will get countered a bit too.. I think the Key is for Cunningham to keep his head screwed on straight when the 8th round up until the end of the fight. I also think Devon has more than enough power in his right to slow down Bradleys work rate and keep the fight at his pace and distance. I have never been impressed with Bradley, I feel like his best showings are against faded competition..(Witter and Campbell) he did look solid against Peterson who couldn't crack an egg and couldn't finish Peterson either even though he was pressing and cleaning him up.

Alexander for me. Maybe 10th round stoppage

Absolutely can't wait for this one. What a way to start the year off.

JT, I have it a similar way to you, seeing Alexander winning inside the distance, via a beautiful counter, which Bradley is definately open to hear and there. You only have to watch the Bradley Holt fight to see that. I personally think Alexander is more skilled and a better counter puncher than Holt for sure. I Alexander can keep cool and box through early barrages and plenty of punches from Bradley I see him catching Bradley around 8 or 9.

I hope Alexander wins, I thought he might have had something special, so im hoping he was just looking past Kotelnik to bigger fights in the future so we can call that a blip. I think he's shown a variety of skills, speed and good power in the past. If he does lose he's got more time to come back only being 23, but I think we need all the young stars we can get to be honest. I hadn't heard him before the recent 'face-off' but I wasnt suprised to hear him speak how he doesn knowing where he's from, as JT said.

I am picking Bradley to win a close decision. He has better defense, and I think has more arsenal to choose from. I was a lil worried when he said he was sick with the flu, but he is still on weight and seems healthy now. Alexander is solid but as Kotelnik showed he can be hit, I think Alexander has the power advantage but you got to hit the guy for it to be effective. Bradleys upper body movement in close will be his biggest asset.

Peterson though looked very good against Ortiz. Clearly, he is a relatively solid boxer and Bradley handled him with ease. The problem with Bradley is that he lacks power and this means he isn't very exciting to watch. However, I believe he is a better technical boxer than Alexander and that he'll make adjustments in the ring whereas in the Kotelnik fight as we saw, Alexander was unable to make adjustments. I wouldn't be surprised if Alexander beat Bradley; it's just the safe bet is that he doesn't. Alexander hasn't really impressed me either. His best win is against Urango who although a beast, is a very limited boxer and a perfect style match-up for Alexander. When Alexander fought a sound boxer in Kotelnik, he only barely won (I thought he lost). I see Bradley beating Kotelnik on points any day of the week.

Bradley being wild and over anxious is what had him on the floor twice against Holt who is a C+ fighter at best who likes to take extra long weekends in the middle part of his fights..

Campbell fight was a dirt fest with multiple butts and low blows and another case of Bradley arm punching and being wild..

Peterson as a bench mark is tough because he couldn't punch thru a wet paper bag and lacked the snap to keep Bradley honest.. Alexander is to solid to try to roll over.

If you go back in look at the Urango Ko is was set up by beautiful 1-2 and then he came up from underneath to floor him, which was an adjustment. Urango kind of does a peek a boo with his head down before he moves in...

I just feel like Bradley is one of the most overrated fighters today with so much hype, again I dont think Devon is a worldbeater yet but he is better than Bradlry

I really see Alexander troubling Bradley with his Southpaw style and 1-2's Devon isint an arm puncher he throws with intent and I really see Bradley getting baked by those rights until he runs into the big one and it's nighty night tiny Tim...

If Chuckie over sells on right yeh he'll have probs but thinking he keeps it smart, and his left hook is not to shabby. Think he'll have much better movement then Alexander

Sure man we can do a sig, I see something special about Alexander he just seems to have it, good all around skill and intangibles. Still a pup with so much time to hone his skills its crazy...

I think a lot of people putting to much in the Kotelnik fight.. I mean the guy was a silver medalist who has been around the corner with that European style.. I didn't see the Maidana fight but I gotta assume that Marcos layed some wood on him and didn't stop him so the guy can take a shot..

Not to mention a 22 year old kid fighting on a big stage with an arena on his side with some boxing royalty mixed in the crowd no doubt left him trying to do to much and lapsing a bit.. I think if anything he learned a big lesson and proved he's got the chops to be in the big time

I think unfortunately I'm breaking the rule I made after Jeff Lacy became shot about not getting to zealous for an up and comer.. It can break your heart if they get beaten up bad and not recover.

Floyds still ticking for me but he is getting older and crazier making more noise outside the ring...

Berto says he is done with appetizers and ready for a meal, unfortunately for him there is no food in the fridge at the moment

Which leaves me with Alexander, he's got the story, the heart, the passion and desire to go along with enormous potential plus he's just one he'll of a nice kid... So I'm all in being a fan..

Guys, this is a whole different fight now, Tommy Hearns worked with Bradley for like a half hour showing him how to throw the right hand bomb. KO2 Bradley.

Did Tommy also give the little guy a growth spurt too so he can have leverage to throw the right? Haha!

I know I been taking the piss out of Bradley a lot and out of all fairness I always have but for some reason he seems to rub me the wrong way. I thought he was a douche for the way he was talking smack to campbell after the hearing resulted in a no contest from the comission. Nate isint a quitter and the fact Bradley is dirty with that bobble head of his wielding it like a battle mace and then turn around and question another guy on his heart because he was playing dirty pool is just delusional in my opinion...

Nate might have been old at that point, but Bradley wasnt hurting him if you go back and watch a lot of flash and volume but 1000% arm punches.. I really believe at that pace come round 5-6 Nate would have adjusted and Bradley would have slowed down a tad bit to present some difficulties by Nate...

Campbell looked pretty composed to me the whole time and was just biding his time, if it ever came we'll never know but that fight told me nothing about Bradley except he was every bit as dirty as advertised and I dont think he catches enough grief for it.. Low blows and butts are part of the sport but more times than not Bradley leads with his head trying to make contact.. I hope Cunningham and Alexander have been working on the rough stuff, I think that could be the potential catayst if Alexander becomes a bit unnerved in there....

If Bradley can beat Alexander fair and clean than I'll give him his due, but up to now I think he is the most overrated fighter in the mainstream at the moment.

Without doubt two amazingly talented fighters going at it in the kind of fight that should be made with more regularity in boxing. I've got too go with Bradley for the ud tho. It may sound stupid but I just see something about him, and see a look in his eyes that makes me feel he won't be denied.

Seems that 99% of the boxing world are going for a Bradley UD. Bookies could stand to lose a lot of cash.
