You've got to do Amir's nickname full credit, its "A mere Con"....I actually think he's an ok prospect, maybe a touch hyped up but he'll be good enough.

Prospects don'y usually defend their world championship belts. I'd say he's past prospect by now.

Vd- how is he ducking a lucky and overrated Prescott? Fighting mcclosky or Murray is a lot more challenging than a beatable Prescott. Khan was a cocky arrogant fighter back then and he has matured under freddy so much. If you don't believe he would beat the telegraphic slugger Prescott then you are stupid. He just went to war in fight of the year with a much better fighter in maidana. Do you think fighting Prescott who just got schooled by mitchell would prove that much? Khan has proved he's miles ahead of Prescott and you know that! It's not even like Prescott brings a title or anything to the table instead of a lucky win over khan which was the best thing that happened to Khans career. I'm not saying i wouldn't watch the fight, however I'd much prefer mcclosky or Murray. I just can't believe you think he's ducking him when he's just beaten a much better fighter in maidana, it makes no sense

I don't think he's ducking him, but what does beating McCloskey do or his career? At least destroying Prescott will wipe his slate clean. I'd much rather see him avenge Prescott than see him fight a guy who keeps his hands so low. Khan will murder McCloskey within 3 rounds IMO. He might do the same to Prescott, but at least there'd be a purpose to it.

McCloskey is still a name in the UK, its just a keep busy fight and as i said before i still would watch a prescott fight. i just dont see how khans ducking him? thats a stupid comment! khans waiting for the winner of bradley alexander hes got a lot bigger fish to fry than prescott. Hes proved hes miles better than prescott with beating maidana in a war. weather the fight is murray, mcclosky or prescott khan will win. its all working towards the winner of the big fight this weekend.

I agree with that. I don't think he's ducking him. But for me, there is more purpose to fighting Prescott than McCloskey. I'd bet more of the average joe public know who Prescott is more than McCloskey. I'd be stunned if he took the Murray fight because the fight is in Manchester and I could see Murray bringing more supporters thus making Khan the bad guy in his own back yard.
