The numbers apply the basic way;
1 Jab 2 Straight 3 Hook 4 R. Hook etc.

The primary problem is that with most punches we should be aiming to punch through the centreline of an opponent and Teddy's system inhibits this.
Still I guess its more for a workout than a developing fighter.

I've always been of the opinion that the whole D'Amato/Rooney/Atlas way of doing things is way overrated, and the whole number system idea makes me chuckle.

Yeah, it's just another cookie-cutter way to make money. It's a mindless system that doesn't address the problem that an opponent is constantly changing.
