Pacs a lot better than Mayorga though , Mayorga won't be capable of a performance that manny was able to deliver! Margarito imo had loaded gloves and his face was in a real bad way after the fight. Margarito hasn't demonstrated power since then it's a tough call. I personally think margarito would beat Mayorga as well! Mayorga is well past it and he wont be able to rally a strong performance against cotto

Well, of their common opponents you have to say that Mayorgas performance was far better against Shane and Margarito was a hell of a lot more active before hand than Ricardo. Margarito isnt a puncher, what stopped Cotto was Margaritos strength, he could take everything Cotto had and keep coming forward punching.

They may well have had loaded gloves or been a superior boxer to Mayorga but regardless, the damage is done. Hes taken those 2 beatings and has had a few hard fights besides those as well. Cotto is going to find it very difficult to enjoy being in the boxing ring when he is again in with someone who can absorb his shots and throw the hardest hes ever felt.

Im not saying Cotto is physically unable to compete at a high level any more, just that anyone strong who can take what Cotto dishes out and give it right back is going to beat him.

i'm sorry i didn't read into the "logic" of a guy who had 18 fights , and who hasn't seen a single Cotto fight yet now is the self deemed expert on his career

as for Miles, no one got more touchy on her than you when Khan ended up with a W over Barrera, or when people discredited Hatton for getting thrashed by Pacquiao, so don't even go there

It's in the past and it happened. Hatton got thrashed. Barrera was cheated. I only ever speak the truth, so I really don't see what that has to do with this.

i've been in boxing since i was 5 haha i don't compete, i just train and spar, but sorry you must be right up there with the likes of Ali due to your vast experience of 18 fights , record must look something like 0-18, cause it's clear from all your posts that you know jack shit about the sport buddy, but hey, you know everything about a fighter you've never seen fight, that's real credible

I've tried to stay out of this thread really, but as I am interested in this fight I obviously have to keep reading. It's just funny how everyone hates Mayorga for being crap and rude and yet everyone else is so upset by him and they turn to being rude too. Just reeks of double standards and yet Cotto gets a pass for being crap in his two biggest fights and yet "he has a lot left". Fair enough.
