Although I wouldnt dis guard God because some group who claim to 'know all' say God is all male, all love, and all of the conniving things you have just stated as well!

It discredits their self given holy position and their lack of true knowledge in regards to what God is and isnt.

Actions just have consequences that run into your next lives and into your own family trees through our dna and rna.

We have more than one go at getting it right (reincarnation exists,it always has done)

Its a mistake to buy into false beliefs that lays blame outside of ourselves.

I love God. Really. I do not fear God and I do not buy into blaming God for anything other than allowing us all our time to do as we wish and those are the consequences of our actions upsetting what could of been a perfect natural balance. We choose this position in order to experience where our power comes from and where it goes to.
We mainly choose wrong and these are self imposed lessons which are good for us.

I've just been watching one of my favourite movies of all time, "Gandhi". Having read about him as well, it is one of those movies I tend to watch when I have my own crises and want to think about what my conscience is telling me to do.

Ultimately, I'm not entirely sure that believing in God affects whether or not you are a good man. After all, there have been very bad religious people and very good atheists, and vice versa. If there is a God, and if he is truly great, then he will still see that it is the man who has lived well and given or benefited more his fellow man that shall still go to heaven before the man who believed in God, but lived badly.

I frequently fall short of the standards that I set myself, and what I expect in terms of living in a way that has a positive effect on those around me, but all I can do is pick myself, and live as best as I know how. Whether or not there is a God looking down, or not looking down, seems the secondary question to me.
