I say that because Haye's biggest win is Monte Barrett. Toney can spark Haye out if he is fit.

not now. I think haye would give him a one sided beating. In fact I can see that fight being on the cards now that the klits ain't gonna happen.

Let's see how Toney looks first, he has three weeks to get in shape and show us all what he has got. He's fighting a bum, but if he will just follow up and fight after then we can see. Going on recent history Toney will fight and then vanish for a year...

If he's only got 3 weeks to get in shape, he needs to get in touch with Trainer Monkey

At this point, I thionk Toney is in a bad Mike Tyson stage. and will bite somebody ear off.

He so crazy, I wouldn't be surprise if he gets the two sports mixed up.

I hope we get a stoppage in the 6th with Toney outclassing his opponent every round. The Greer fight was far too quick, Toney needs to bank some rounds.

4 fights this year, Toney. That's what you said and I'm going to hold you to it. Go the Foreman route, stay busy, stay in shape and keep fighting until one final crack at a belt, preferably Haye as the others are too big.

Then retire for good, forget about the sisters. A belt and a pay day is enough. You will be 43 and you haven't got the legs to follow Wlad around for 12 rounds.

You're kidding me right? Finally I disagree with you. Monte aint Haye's biggest win at all, at Heavyweight, Valuev is. Toney was knocked down by a Sam Peter jab. He does not have it anymore, and there is little to no chance he ever even gets close to fit again. Haye would stop him at this stage. Toney would take a beating and the referee would stop it.

Toney was injured and did indeed fall from a jab. Haye hasn't proven that he can beat Sam Peter, so I am not convinced about what he can do. Haye has proven nothing, Holyfield was better against Valuev and Toney beat Holyfield. Haye is still nothing all things considered.

Toney saying he will beat Haye and The brothers grim is nothing new , blah blah blah ,
I seem to remember Toney saying he would KO Randy Couture with the first shot he landed , blah blah blah. James should hang em up in my opinion.

I say we should at least see how he looks. I am insulted about the MMA thing, but James Toney deserves to at least be observed in the boxing ring. Let's just see. He should destroy this bum.

He must be running out of this.

Saying Toney is washed up is an understatement. Prime Toney was something to behold, now Toney is only good for a few laughs. I forgot who nicknamed him J-Fat here?

IMO Toney has never been a good HW. He beat Evander when Evander was way past it and carrying an injury to his shoulder and he won a decision over Ruiz, but he needed Steroids to get that win. He was a great fighter between the weights of 160 and 175 but even in his prime I remember Montell Griffin beating him twice, Roy Jones gave him a one sided beating and the best fight that could have been made for both men IMO in him and Hopkins has never happened. If they were to fight I think Hopkins definitely wins now. Toney just needs to get the fuck out of boxing once and for all.

The problem is I have a funny feeling David Haye may take a fight with Toney and that would be disastrous both for boxing and for Toney, If big fat slow Sam Peter can land regular on Toney, Haye will totally massacre him. I hope this fight doesn't happen but with Hayes options seemingly quite low, he showed by taking the fight with Audley that he is not afraid of taking an easy fight and that is what this would be, although I would love to see Toney sparked and I am 100% positive that is what Haye would do to him.
