Sorry man - that counter didn't have much to do with Conte. That was some straight skill.

I didn't even have time to finish my drink...but a damn exciting fight.

I can already see how Donaire's career in the saddo world will unfold. Instead of sarcastically elaborating like I had originally planned, he is going to be looked at on here just like Pacquiao. He can beat whoever is out there, go through the weight classes, but the intense fans will continue to battle with the haters and have all the rest of the forum picking sides with me and a select few having regular unbiased minds giving credit where credit is due.

    Nonito Donaire is FOR REAL!!!

Hey chief...never said he wasnt real...just that he had a diva mentality and was fighting flyweights and hobbits. He fought a great fighter tonight and he thumped him...congrats on the win.

Not sure why he'd wear a mask temporarily. I know you can get tents to sleep in for < 5k or so that simulate altitude, which is pretty affordable for a pro and in many ways cheaper then moving your training camp. Plus there are theoretical advantages to sleeping (simulated) high altitude and training at sea level.

Are these things not used at all by boxers?

I don't know what they can say, Donaire isn't worried about getting tested. Gotta give him props on an impressive KO. Early candidate for ko of the year.

I don't think anyone at bantam can deal with his size/speed combo. Super Bantam is kind of weak atm though, wouldnt mind seeing him unify against the Agbeko-Mares winner.

Chances of that happening is slim. He had trouble making 118.

Do you know any top dawg at 122? Caballero, Gamboa, JML, Juarez, CJ, Bern Concepcion.. they all moved up man.

I read somewhere that he has a BIG date offered by Koki Kameda's in Japan for big bucks if he is able to dispose of Montiel... Now that he has, I don't know if that still stand now. I think it is for a unification... not so sure about that last bit.
