I'll take nothing away from what was a fautless performance but Montiel looked at least two weight classes smaller.

Donaire should be fighting guys like Lopez and Gamboa really, it amazes me he is able to get down to that weight class.
And you had Chad Dawson and PWill over Donaire in p4p category.

Where's Dawson and PWill now huh?

    lmfao!

Well both Williams and Dawson were winning their fights until they moved up to their proper weight class.

I don't see how anyone can look at Montiel and Donaire side by side and not think that looked an unfair fight.

Montiel has like a weird dwarf manchild body, he looks like the freakishly tiny man he is. Donaire just looks like an average build 5 ft 8 man, I can't see how in the world they weigh the same.

Look at the other fighters in that weight class, Darchinyan, Montiel, the guy Donaire fought last time out, they don't look like normal build, they kind of look weird with shrunken bodies and mekon sized heads.

Donaire just looks like a regular size guy beating up on pygmie people when he fights.

As for Williams and Dawson being higher, on acomplishments at the time they were! I still stand by that.

Donaire got rated in the p4p on potential not acomplishments. To his credit with a huge win over Montiel he now deserves to be there, although the hyperbole once again went into overdrive with Roy Jones placing him number 2 behind Pacquaio.

He;s beaten two world champs, and credit to him totally knocked them the fuck out, I won't take that away. But it's taken him over 3 years to finally fight a world rated opponent.

Now he's earned his p4p for sure. Let's see how he does in his own weight class.
Moving up to their proper weight class? Chad Dawson started at 168, but he's been fighting at 175 forever. Honestly Donaire IMO is better than this version of Juan Manuel marquez, or Martinez who hasn't been somebody I respect. Of the guys in the top 10 p4p I would only have PBF and Manny above him.

I want to see him against Rigondeaux, I still think Guillermo would beat up Nonito because it's a guy who's trying to box and outspeed him. I just don't see Donaire having the same capabilities as Rigondeaux. He's better at taking guys out, and eliciting a response from an opponent, but Guillermo has way better defense, he's quicker, and he's a better technical fighter. That being said they have power, but Nonito can change fights with his power.
