I will be extremely upset if that is the case. I really want him to push himself for one final run. I think he can beat someone like Haye if he can just focus on training and upping the opposition level during a couple more quick fights. Otherwise what was the point in this? It can't just be about the money as he was obviously not paid very much for this bout. And you can't tell me Toney is serious in saying that NOBODY will fight him. It's frustrating.
Miles no way can he beat Haye, he is well past it.
Perhaps, but I would like to see more before my mind is made up. All I have seen is a rectangular shaped 20 second snippet of this fight. I don't really know how he looked and neither does anyone outside of those that went to watch. The snippet was probably that shape because it made him look slimmer. Still, you can never leave the JFAT alliance and I still cling on to that slim hope that he can raise it for one final push over the course of the year.

He has the same chance as Audley winning mate.

I disagree strongly with that statement. Audley is truly crap, but Toney, even as a fat HW has great smarts. In fact I wouldn't mind seeing that as another fight in Toney's quick run of tune ups in an effort to lose the weight before stepping it up again. Audley then Barrett then a top 10 guy and then a final shot. Of course, it could all go horribly wrong. But at least give it a shot and put it all beyond any doubt. And do it in a year rather than a decade like Haye did.

Toney is shite and IMO has been ever since he moved to HW. He beat an injured Evander well and other than that he has been crap at HW. He was a great fighter from 160-175 but he's just not a HW fact. Haye would absolutely demolish him but I'm not getting into that because it will never happen because Toney is a fucking great big fat fucking joke!

Timeless fight. I never get tired of watching that one. I love watching Toney fight full stop, but it was great to see Toney taken to his limits by a high output guy with freaky stamina. One of my dream matchups is Toney/Calzaghe at SMW or LHW. Such a great mesh of styles.

Yeah can't knock him as a CW but for me his prime was between 160-175.
