Mosley would have always had troubles against Floyd or even Sergio Mora. His style isn't effective against boxers with a good jab, and if they are strong enough to stand up to him. But let's be honest he controlled that fight against Mora, and should have won that fight in a relative landslide. He landed way more, he was the aggressor, and he should have won. Is he what he once was? No, but I think he's better at some things and worse at others. In total he is a little deminished, but I think while he is a little slower that he is physically stronger and smarter as a fighter. No way do I see a younger Mosley doing what he did to Margarito.

If anything Mosley looked better against Margarito then Pacquiao did. He stopped Margarito, got hit less, was never hurt, and his punches effected Margarito more. That's why I think this is such an interesting fight. Manny can't bottle Mosley up the same way Floyd did, Floyd was taking away Mosley initiative with his innate defensive skills and his ability to slow the tempo to the pace he likes. Manny will have to try and outgun Mosley which is a task much harder then anything he has experienced recently and maybe even ever. I don't think Mosley needs to have the same type of reaction speed against Manny as he did against Floyd, this will be more of a tit-for-tat type fight where both guys will be hit, both have great chins, and the winner will be decided on whether Mosley who hits harder will be able to effect Pacquiao who hits more.

I don't think Shane is as shot as people make him out to be. It's just his last few opponents styles carried the fight.
Mayorga - Wild punches and reckless. Luckily Shane caught him at the last second, cause my card did not favor Mosley.
Margarito - Straight forward. BULL!!! Mosley fought smart. Punch and hold, until he rocked Margarito.
Mayweather - Floyd makes every fighter he fight, seem amatuer flawed.
Mora - Bounce and afraid to engage. But upclose, Mora was landed the more solid shots.(watch the fight) But it wasn't nearly enough.
    Now . . .
Pacman ? He a bull too. Coming straight forward. See above!!!

    I like Mosley chances.
Whats the odds against Mosley? I gotta catch a flight to Vegas

Shane is definitely past it. Being past it doesn't mean he is a bum...but he no longer has the legs or stamina. You can talk all about the match up styles of his recent fights...but the big thing i see, is that Shane starts gassing out my the middle rounds. His output drops considerably as the fight progresses recently.

And that is where Pac's strength is... He'll go blow for blow the first couple of rounds.. He slowly gains in pace and learns the timing of his opponent.. And the second the start to slow or get a tiny bit sloppy with their attack, he nails the shit out of them.. The second he starts to make them miss alot as the rounds go on, he nails the shit out of them...

Mosley got no chance... Good shape or not, he's got 6 rounds to take control of the fight, but as much as on paper and theory you can say how he will be a strong opponent, I think 12 rounds and 6 of them in the second half of the fight, is too many rounds for Pac to learn and slaughter Shane's style..

That's simply how I see it..

I like your take on it.
I think Shane will get timed more easily by Manny coming forward and will be jolted a few times and tko'd mid rounds 8th.
