It's hard to say... I'd almost agree that Ricky Hatton was the best win on his resume... Maybe Zab Judah was okay as well....

Mayweather is someone who is really measured by his class and the way he beats his opponents, rather than the opponents themselves...

He could easily have a list of serious 154 pounders on that resume... The greatest fighter, who never fought truly great opposition.. He could retire today, and I believe in 20 or 30 years I will still hold him as one of the most incredible fighters I have seen... His resume, not so...

Ricky Hatton win for me... Even though he was slightly out of his comfort weight. DLH would be second but a lot of stuff makes me discount the impressiveness of that fight..

I'm going to say Shane Mosley for two reasons . . .

    1. Floyd was never hurt like that before. I mean rocked twice in one round and came back to totally outclass Mosley. Floyd made Shane look old from round 3 on. He did have a long lay-off but his last fight he destroyed Margarito. And I know old age can set in at anytime. But if people want to believe that's what it was, it started in round 3, when Mayweather stepped up his level of skills.

    2. After Mosley beat Pacman, people are going to say, "Shane can still bang".

Now if the question was best boxing exhibition, his fight against Gatti was a classic.

i think ricky had also showed a lot of signs of wear and tear in fights in the run up to the mayweather fight

ricky peaked sometime before that fight

Ricky peaked when he beat Kostya Tszyu.

yep, that was his best win and he was on song at the time

i reckon he would have beaten tzu the same way in the couple of years that preceeded that

if he had met mayweather at the time he may have put on a better show

i still believe the ref handed the fight to mayweather, ive watched the fight since the event and it wasnt just my emotions at the time that blamed the ref

im not saying ricky would have beaten him, i am just saying the ref took away rickys best chance of winning

Agree with you for a change.

Whilst Floyd still would've outboxed Ricky, Joe Cortez did Ricky no favours at all that night. The worst refereeing performance I have ever seen. Took away any chance Ricky had of winning as he sure wasn't going to beat Mayweather fighting on the outside.

I think you're confusing him with the boxer you took your name from.

Biggest win would have to be Hatton IMO. We all know how Hatton's career went down the shitter after the loss, but at fight time he was undefeated and seemingly at his peak. Not only that, but he was viewed by most as the worst possible matchup for Floyd.
