    Default Ibo - computerized ranking

Has anyone checked out the Top 100 IBO computerized Ranking? It appears to rank fighters based on their record against the top 50 fighters in the weight-class. Here's a clip for the Super Middleweight. I can't quite figure out what the "*" is for. I find it intresting that Dirrell is ranked above Abraham with only a 4-1. The DQ loss appears to have a big impact.

Since they started this, I've always thought the IBO to be the best sanctioning body even if they aren't high profile. It's too bad the rest of the boxing world doesn't come around on this, it's pretty sad we recognize guys as title holders even though their belts are given to them by blatantly corrupt organizations. Oh well. The rankings aren't perfect but I think their better then boxrec's computerized rankings.

Good enough for me...Wlad is the IBO Heavyweight champ so at least they've got that right

Johnny & Amat, CC guys. Seriously, I've felt the same way for a long time now. I would like to see IBO gain more prominence. Either them or Boxrec

    Lyle, lol.

I give it another 2 or 3 years before it becomes another major world title like the other 4. Just think guys we'll then have 5 major world titles and who knows the IBO will start having super champs, emritus champs, Super Duper Champs, interim champs, etc.

    Ain't that exciting?

Well I don't necessarily agree with that Drago as Vitali is now 39 and Wlad is 34 and in the peak of his prime.

And anyway Wlad is the ONLY heavyweight that has unified titles AND he's currently the longest reigning, longest defending current heavyweight title holder. So I repeat, "at least the IBO has that right"

Agreed yes they have. Also when Ricky Hatton was clearly 140lbs champ they were the only one that recognised him as champion going into the Pac fight. The Ring too but they are a magazine not a governing body!

I'm surprised boxrec hasn't got titles yet.

They will, as soon as Google buy them. Then we can look forward to PPV events on Youtube for the Boxrec title, for which sanctioning fees are offset against your click-through ratings on Google.

It wouldn't surprise me. Either that or Facebook will buy them.

I'm sure if someone here made a belt that was cool enough to look good, we could get a pro to wear it.

I'm gonna start my own organisation and make you vice president. Then at HW i'll make Haye Super Champion and you can make Wlad Diamond champion and they can fight for the "Saddo Boxing Organisation Super Diamond HW championship of the Universe"
