Of course, but only if it can happen in less than 2 months time, so it won't prevent an Adamek vs Vitali clash in September.

Watt didn't mention it for about 15 minutes.

I think Solis went down because his knee went, NOT that he hurt his knee as he was going down (although Watt didn't think it was either of those options).
That was really annoying me. It was quite clear his knee went (I don't think he took a dive) but Jim Watt was acting like it was some colossal shot that rendered Solis unable to use his legs. Solis was doing pretty well up to that point, but surely no in shape athlete should just break down like that? Oh wait...

3 pounds lighter, and about 7 inches shorter....do some roadwork fat bastard. He had skinny little chicken legs.

Missed it all? Damn time delays....did he go out ala Mayorga and sprain his leg off a punch that dropped him?

Lol You dont pick against Dr Steelhammer, can Vitali get some props from anyone? No he slow and no power obviously well past his best. (cough) Lyle(cough)
Lol won't pick against a klitschko again.........

Haye to win in the summer

jokes aside in the short time it lasted Solis showed fast hands and a bit of movement can be effective shame we didn't get to see what might have happened. A fast pace and plenty of movement and angles will work well for their opponents. The Klitsckos are monsters if they are given time and distance to get their long hard punches off.

    Obviously easier said than done

Considering that he MUST train, how is it possible for a fighter to be that fat? Seriously.
Even with just a little training you surely qould have to eat a ridiculous amount?

I always think the same (to a far lesser extent) about Enzo Mac. In fact he has become a byword amongst my friends for a body that you don't want. I'm sure Enzo trains hard, he must or he wouldn't go 12 rounds (well, he USED to go 12 rounds), so how it is possible for him to look like MR Disapointingly Average? Eat loads? Or cursed by his genes? It is possible to train like hell, eat right, and still be in that kind of shape? Serious question. (I know Enzo Mac is by no means as bad as some, but just always wondered).

ryanman, I used to think exactly the same about enzo like you say he was obviously fit. i just reckon he needed to drop down a weight division which would take time and a bit more training than usual so was easier for him to stay where he was. If you're carrying excess weight it's there to be lost surely.

If he has ever cut corners in order to avoid shedding those extra pounds i'd say he has paid the price.

Thanks man. Yep. Temple, chin, chest. Whateva, name of the game. Nice one punch ko for Vitali. Opens pandoras box with after the fact injury while the shot was as clear as day. Might rematch, way he was passive and not taking play of it dont see it changing EDIT- not saying knee wasn't injured, but head was first

Wow, Vitali wins a fight where he may (according to you morons) have been behind on the scorecards (had the first round actually ended) but still won, ironic seeing how Vitali's only losses were when he was up on the scorecards.

BTW Vitali is 'Dr. Ironfist', Wladimir is 'Dr. Steelhammer'.

Solis needs to get in shape....so much for that fancy footwork eh guys?

he was doing ok looked like his hand speed could make it interesting for a few rounds.....the short looping right hand caught him on the temple as he was going in with his hands covering his face, it wasnt a thunderbalt but seemed to stun as he went back his left leg went stiff and cause the right to buckle from the weight.......i dont believe it was a dive, trust me his manager ahmet is a turkish promoter based in germany...if you know ahmet you know he's upset at this he was crying after the fight

That promoter is an idiot for making the fight. Too much too soon. Thank god we didnt have to watch Chisora get banged out in the same fashion. I dont think Vitali should offer a rematch any time soon to this guy. Let him try and rebound and get his weight down, he has the speed and ability. He apparently doesnt have any conditioning or work ethic.

What a load of bullshit! Solis is complaining of a knee injury but manages to use that leg to lift his fat ass up! He cried off!
