George Foreman - Without doubt the greatest puncher in the history of boxing.
Evander Holyfield - My personal favourite HW as I remember his prime. No one now comes close in talent or heart!
Roy Jones Jr - IMO the greatest athlete to ever step foot in a boxing ring. Still watch his prime fights regular!
Ray Robinson - The greatest p4p fighter in the history of the sport and one man who would certainly beat Pac and PBF.
Kostya Tszyu - p4p one of the best punchers ever and IMO still the greatest 140 fighter ever. Even better than the Hawk.

There are many, many more that spring to mind and are equally as deserving as the 6 I have mentioned, I just don't have time to go through them now. Great thread idea though!

Er......... technically..... he needs to have LEFT before he can be brought BACK.

I thought the thread meant bring back in their primes. That would mean rewinding 20 years now for Evander.

Bring back 154 McCallum and have Sergio stay there for a meet....stuck on that one!! Norris for that matter. Deep down I think Martinez takes the best Norris out

Shit bring back Razor Ruddock and include a jab....and right hand. And Berry tompkins and Al bernstein calling fights.

I'd like to see Shorty Hogue- he was 3-1 against Archie Moore, held his own with Eddie Booker, and I have no clue how he fought or anything else. Except that losing to Charley Burley seemed to finish him as a fighter.
Two other guys: Alberto Davila and Alberto Sandoval. Both were good fighters and both lived near me. I think they'd be champions now and would get a chance to make some money. Davila was 118lb champ, briefly, and still worked delivering Budweiser.

Would have liked to have seen Carmen BAsillo looks like hes got a head like brick for the weight against/ Mickey Walker.

Len HArvey an amazing defensive fighter from all accounts against/Willie Pep.

Id like to see the human windmill HArry Greb fight too lets say
    Dela hoya.

Man I wish. I think he'll go down as one of the most underappreciated in a very long time. He should have been HUGE with that speed and boxing. Be it promotion, law problems, liking to slug it out, I dont know Dream fight was always vs Tapia. If only...

BINGO... when someone mentioned Tapia earlier in the thread that's what made me think of him. I admit that I have only seen like 8 of his fights from beginning to end(if that) but just based on the hell he gave Marquez when he was past it makes me extremely curious about him. He had a lot of heart like Tapia so who knows what would've been.
If you think you can......you can, if you think you can't .......you're right!
