As an expression it is perfectly understandable, but in the context of this fight it is meaningless.

Is Wlad going to be under pressure? Haye circled The Yeti for 12 rounds and threw a dozen punches per round. He wouldn't even open up against Audley Harrison. And now he is going to revert Wlad Klit back to type?

It would make sense only in terms of Haye's previous losses really, but I guess Haye was probably not talking about himself.

This goes into the Haye crap talking thread with ease.

Haye has only lost 1 fight bud, so using the plural is a little unfair. Also haye broke his hand in the 2nd or 3rd of the fight with Valuev, so the tactic was maybe determined by that, also add to the fact he was so much bigger. Why stand toe 2 toe with a beast like that and risk getting sparked. Haye will use his speed and reactions againts Wlad no doubt, but to say he has no agility and is too small, got to disagree with bud.

    Haye will beat him
You say Haye will win because you are culturally biased. You want him to win and I understand that. The thing with me is that my cultural bias is pretty much eradicated.

Haye has lost in the Amateurs and also as a smaller pro, I use the plural for those reasons alone.

Wlad is not a great fighter by my reckoning, but Haye is nothing more than a jumped up CW who has feasted on a handful of easy fights. Wlad is too much of a technician. Haye will eat the jab and then get worn out.

I am not going to be won over by a motor mouth with dreadlocks, I would like to see some evidence first.
Hahaha, you're counting his amateur losses??!

Find a fighter who hasn't lost in the amateurs. Not to mention that Haye got to international stage as an amateur with absolutely fuck all fights (relatively) in Britain because so few other clubs wanted to put their boys in with him. So there was no shame in losing to Solis who had significantly more experience.

I'm all for fair criticism of which there is plenty of Haye, but trying to find things that justify it in an amateur fight is laughable.

Shit, Vitali got KO'd by Pele Reid in a kickboxing match, so let's see how we can extrapolate that to his next fight.
A loss in a kickboxing match = .78 of a KO in boxing by my math. TBH though, I may have missed the carried one. Can someone check that for me?
