To much size. A light heavy vs a big true heavy. To compare really not far. Different era. Vitali Klits would have beat Joe simply because of size. Cant compare.

Louis can punch and hurt Lennox so Lennox will have to keep his distance but if he made Lewis could be KOed.

So Lewis would have won because he is bigger? Louis wasn't much smaller than Holyfield- a true blown up light heavy- and Lewis didn't blow him out. And Holyfield is eons behind Louis in everything- boxing skill, boxing intelligence, punching ability, punching power, all of it. Louis would outjab Lewis- there is much more to out-jabbinbg somebody than poking them from further away than he can poke you- back him up and knock him out.

Tell you truth grey Holyfeild would shit on Louis as well, Louis couldn't deal with counter punchers that well and when Holyfeild was at his best he was one hell of a boxer.

2 of the greatest ever no doubt. But I feel that Louis may well have been too tough for Lennox. He had dynamite in his hands even as a small HW and his will to win combined with that power was like nothing Lennox faced. It would be like a combination of Tyson and Holyfield and I feel that would have been too much for Lennox as I think even a past his prime Evander got a draw against a prime Lennox in the rematch. I think the results of the Lennox vs Evander fights were right, just the order they came in were wrong.

    Lewis KO2
Lewis is not necessarily known for having an iron chin/jaw either.

But I can see Lewis doing what he did to David Tua. Just keeping him on a safe distance using his reach.

Tony Galento floored Louis , he has no chance.Lewis would ko him in a walk over in my opinion.

Other then his 2 KO losses by two hard punchers he came in under tarined for when was Lennox dented? Tua landed monstor shots and LL stood up to them as did Mercer...Holyfield landed several hard shots, Vitali did as well and LL came in undertrained for that fight too....Not the best jaw but not soft either I can name 10 past hwt champions who fell to lesser shots then LL

Yeah I've reached the stage where you just have to say its impossible to compare eras. In sport or anything.

If you're the best of your era you've done the job and nothing more can be asked - Fury can still reach this goal.

Had some clown in the pub the other day telling me how Brazil team of 1970 would murder the current Man City side...

See why I post side by side to expose lunatics who just speak without comparing side by side, of course a guy looks great vs guys of his own era or watching
    highlights which don't show everything,

so i match them up side by side full rounds and see how obsolete/outdated they are when a person can see every angle/tech/timing/defense between each era

The 70s were very dated compared to the 80s let alone the 90s in most sports

Most on yt don't match up side by side full rounds like me cause it hurts to see the truth of how novice like the louis era was/Dempsey era no one even made mid card fighting exactly like those guys in the 70s-'90s

looks like novices compared to 70s-90s

And lennox even in his first top pro 10 matches was way more even than the 70s let alone the novice like era louis fought in so why was this named prime vs prime

Anybody who gave louis any chance or wins is a lunatic
