I will get a picture of the bars I go to. Just run of the mill dives. I go 3-4 nights a week at least to stop in for a brew after work.

I don't have a camera on my phone that works.

They are almost always dead, and I can count the times on one hand that hot girls where there. I have come to the realization, however, that I prefer these dead bars playing the same music, over any place kicking with hotties and rap music. "We play both kinds of music: country AND western."

But, something to be said for a place that lets you run a tab for weeks and pay with a check. $2 beers.

I am grateful we still have bars around and you can smoke in them. YAH (Although I don't smoke, I firmly believe you should be in a smoke filled place if you are going ot do some sinnin') The closest bar is too far to ride a horse, so I wish we had some a little closer (I guess that's why I built a private party shack in my yard).

Totally, I hate places that play rap and are overrun with bizarre young people with excessively baggy clothes and peculiar fake jewelry. Just give me a quiet place with a bar to sit at and draft beer at the ready. I will try and find such a place for a quiet one this weekend. I'm sure we have a camera somewhere, but I've no idea if we have the equipment to upload pics. I will have to have a search. I don't really have a local drinking place anymore though.

Just remembered that I wanted to post up in this thread. Love my pub, great ale brewed locally at Howard Town Brewery and a top landlord and landlady. They also have two beautiful daughters and splendid food. Top all round pub by my books.

I did a bit of a rap in class the other day actually and it went down quite well all things considered. I don't think I will do it again though as I don't want to get a reputation. I have a hooded overshirt and jeans. Maybe I should find one of these bars and get myself on the mic. Do a bit of a beat box thing as a prelude. Just to show the young people of this world that I do indeed still have my mojo.

No, it was quite awful really, but the students thought it was funny. It was something about walking in the street looking for a bookshop. It was a one off thing and was set off by some student listening to some rap on his phone during the break. Never again.
