Yeah it is. Was it done as a piss take? I honestly can't imagine anyone at a record label hearing her voice, reading those lyrics and thinking "we've got a potential hit on our hands here." Really a 5 year old could have written that. Yesterday was Thursday, today is Friday, tomorrow it will be Saturday and Sunday is afterwards." Seriously wtf? Yet I've listened to it 3 times today...

You don't need to know to sing any more. Record companies use a cookie cutter mould now. Cute enough with a winning smile, bring in the sound mixer, electronics expert and learn some some dance moves. Instant star.

When all else fails today.

Make a web video, get over 500,000 hits and your in. Does not matter if you can't sing. They can fix that.

But take the video's out of the mix and go purely on the voice. Most of the artist out there would not be around.
