I like Uggla but his defense is going to make you want Brooks Condrad as your full time second baseman. Just watch. Oh but the Giants now have Miguel Tejada :\

Our defense is the big issue. That and whether or not McClouth will be such a giant bag of shit again. The outfield defense should be solid, Heyward's fine, McClouth is solid, and Freddie Gonzalez has said that Prado could be one of the best left fielders in the NL. Which doesn't surprise me, he's just a baseball player, such a pro.

Infield, meh. Chipper is ok but not much range (not to mention he will get hurt, its just inevitable, its just a question of whether he'll be able to play 100 games this year, he's been on fire in spring and had two hits yesterday). Alex Gonzalez is better than average but not exactly Ozzie Smith. Uggla I just hope is serviceable. Freddie Freeman is supposed to have gold glove potential at first. McCann actually threw somebody out yesterday

But Lowe seems to still be on fire after being amazing down the stretch and Kimbrel and Venters are just nasty. Our rotation isn't quite as good as the Phillies or the Giants but is top five easy in the NL. Actually our overall pitching is probably third in the NL. And we should be a top five hitting team in the NL.

And to top it off you have what looks like an American version of Miles in the glasses on the far right.

It's definitely a gem alright.

The start to this season has been extremely frustrating...we did a good job vs the Yankees but lowly Tampa comes in a crushes us. Come on Sox, you're better than this!!!

I know when this club gets hot they'll be able to make up lots of ground, but in the AL East you can't afford long stretches of poor play no matter at what point of the season it happens.
