He's been on these shows numerous times plus LOADS of others. Can you get anymore mainstream in Britain? I don't think so.

i hope Haye pulls this off, I was secretly hoping Vitali would fight him as Haye stands a better chance of outboxing him. Wlad has a pile driver of a jab and his defence has improved so do not think Haye will get through and if he does try he is liable to get knocked out.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
David Haye is without doubt one of the most popular sportsmen in the country right now and IF he beats Wlad and becomes recognised as "THE" Heavyweight champion of the world that popularity will treble without doubt. Haye has all the things going for him that he needs. He's apparently easy on the eyes for the ladies, he's got the potential to Knock any man in the world out with one punch, which always benefits you in this game, and though Wlad also has this quality he isn't willing to use it as much as Haye and that is why he is quite an unpopular champion in truth. He just doesn't take the risks and make the fights interesting and exciting.
Finally love him or hate him David Haye can sell a fight and trash talk with the best of them, which is why he is such a PPV hit in this country. He is a thoroughly marketable fighter that is finally meeting his potential. Should Haye beat Wlad Britain will have a major superstar with the world at his feet and I just cannot see a man with that potential retiring!
For the sake of the HW division, I hope it's not a blowout either way. I hope it's an exciting, give-and-take fight, with both sides doing the giving AND the taking. I hope their respective chins hold up for at least a good 8-10 rounds, and not give out before that. I would HATE for either fighter to land a haymaker (no pun intended) and end the fight in the first 2-3 rounds.
If it's an exciting fight..... the public may even demand a rematch.

"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
I think if Haye did stop Wlad in the early rounds, rather than it being a 'is that all there was' it would be like a HW Pacquiao-Hatton with people exhilirated.
In terms of interest for the HW division, it would be far better for an exciting Haye win than any win by Wlad. Haye is divisive, but the Klitschkos for all their talents don't really divide opinion. There's a small pocket who either love or hate them (Lyle & Hornfinger respectively) and everyone else is kind of 'meh...'
He should be out here at Booths Gym in North Cyprus soon running up and down the Troodos Mountains.
As far as i'm concerned he's one of the UK's better known faces as a sportsman.
Degale won Olympic Gold but i'd bet a shitload Hayes better known than him.
Could we say the same if Khan had just won the Silver and Haye was where he was now?
Plus he's all over Fight Night's new Playstation game

I'd say he's doing alright![]()
AS for Groves-DeGale. WE should just be thankful that they will fight. For every possible Benn-Eubank there are a dozen rivalries that never happen because of "politics" and waiting for them to become bigger names.
Benn-Eubank and days of 15 million terrestrial TV are LONG gone.

Big shame but your bang on mate...Miss those days
Who you picking out of Groves v Degale then.
Groves has been holding his own with Dirrell recently in Sparring over in the US
"Last week I told you all that George Groves would be checking in and sparring Andre Dirrell, and both guys have been getting on like a house on fire – in and out of the ring. Their sparring sessions are bringing everybody to a standstill in the gym and whenever those two step inside the ring it becomes a must-see event. Andre is starting to get his groove back and George is more than holding his own. They are sparring some really ferocious rounds at the moment and it's great to see."
