i hope Haye pulls this off, I was secretly hoping Vitali would fight him as Haye stands a better chance of outboxing him. Wlad has a pile driver of a jab and his defence has improved so do not think Haye will get through and if he does try he is liable to get knocked out.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

In other words
"It's been confirmed. I'm getting knocked out by Wladimir"

David Haye is without doubt one of the most popular sportsmen in the country right now and IF he beats Wlad and becomes recognised as "THE" Heavyweight champion of the world that popularity will treble without doubt. Haye has all the things going for him that he needs. He's apparently easy on the eyes for the ladies, he's got the potential to Knock any man in the world out with one punch, which always benefits you in this game, and though Wlad also has this quality he isn't willing to use it as much as Haye and that is why he is quite an unpopular champion in truth. He just doesn't take the risks and make the fights interesting and exciting.
Finally love him or hate him David Haye can sell a fight and trash talk with the best of them, which is why he is such a PPV hit in this country. He is a thoroughly marketable fighter that is finally meeting his potential. Should Haye beat Wlad Britain will have a major superstar with the world at his feet and I just cannot see a man with that potential retiring!

For the sake of the HW division, I hope it's not a blowout either way. I hope it's an exciting, give-and-take fight, with both sides doing the giving AND the taking. I hope their respective chins hold up for at least a good 8-10 rounds, and not give out before that. I would HATE for either fighter to land a haymaker (no pun intended) and end the fight in the first 2-3 rounds.
If it's an exciting fight..... the public may even demand a rematch.

"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

I think if Haye did stop Wlad in the early rounds, rather than it being a 'is that all there was' it would be like a HW Pacquiao-Hatton with people exhilirated.
In terms of interest for the HW division, it would be far better for an exciting Haye win than any win by Wlad. Haye is divisive, but the Klitschkos for all their talents don't really divide opinion. There's a small pocket who either love or hate them (Lyle & Hornfinger respectively) and everyone else is kind of 'meh...'
If Valuev made him shell up then you've got to figure Wlad will....broken hand or not, Vaulev had no power, no sopeed and the guy did't even shine the shoes on him which in all honesty I figured he would. I thought he would have and should have KO'd Valuev and his lackluster performance there has me even more convinced that this will be a simple fight for Wlad...avoid the quick right cross and counter the wild power punches...it shouldn't take long.
The only thing I'm curious about is how much humility will the WBA title holder show in defeat
