ICB were you not giving me shit about a month ago in another thread when i said "this fight makes sense". Now it's a good tuneup for JMM . I do agree though it's a good test for JMM at 140

Well if JMM wants to win another title at a different weightclass, to be the first mexican to do so in 4 weightclasses. Then Zab Judah isn't a bad tune up but i still don't think Zab Judah. Really deserves another big fight though, he's had so many chances but i'd like to see how my boy handles 140, considering he looked bloated and not very good at 147.

I completely agree with you, i'm just giving you shit. He did look very bloated at 147, and Zab is a good test for him at 140. Probably the most logical choice of the options at 140. I think it's a good fight if it happens.

I think JMM could stay at 135 to Zabs 140 and still pick him apart. Judah is now a 6 round fighter who winds up for the big shot finish. JMM via late tko on cuts.

Looking to upstage Mayweather and Pacquiao, Judah goes out looking for the early KO. In the process he gets himself stopped in the 2nd

This is a very good match up and not easy to pick a winner. This will be a very entertaining fight and I think the new and improved Judah can win this.

This looks like a fantastic matchup to me. Gotta go with Marquez, but I'd never write Judah off against anyone below 147. I might even be slightly hoping for Judah to win, in the early days I always thought he could go down as a great but he just didn't have the mental toughness. I'd love for him to finally come good.

I take it this fight would be at 140??

Interesting fight. Gotta go with with Marquez. He may be older and smaller but he is the more reliable of the two mentally and physically. Zab can look a million dollars 1 minute then fall apart the next. Marquez is consistent with his boxing and whilst he is a bit slower he will work his way into the fight with pressure and body shots.

Judah I expect will have early success with quick left hand counters and use his superior footwork to confuse Marquez but Juan will slowly start cutting off the corners working the body and punishing Judah. I think Zab wil do well to last the distance but come out a close but clear points loser.

Decent fight IMO, Marquez is untested at 140 and Zab has seemed to be somewhat on the slide. It's a fair contest for both really.

Think Marquez outhustles Zab over 12 though, Zab simply doesn't throw punches anymore.

You see my point exactly Miles, Zab not throwing that many punches staying on the outside will result in counter punching Marquez having a low output and there you have it a boring ass chess match of a fight.
