Cotto-Branco....that's the only time I have ever seen a fight stopped by a punch to the shoulder. That and Branco was beat to hell and back.

I can't remember if he went down or not, but Jesse Feliciano took a right beating when he fought Cintron for a few years back. It was quite sickening. every punch looked like it nearly killed him.

The only fight I wanted to see stop was Castro v John David Jackson, that was brutal.

Roy Jones Jr. vs. Richard Hall. Hall took the WORST beating I have ever seen Roy Jones deliver this side of Vinny Pazienza. Jones connected with something like 70% of his total punches !

JMM vs. Rocky Juarez was another. I gained great respect for Juarez that night, he took some terrible pin point uppercuts from Juan Manuel that night for 12 hard rounds.

I haven't seen Davis vs Pazienza, but the other two are great calls. People started throwing things into the ring in the Lopez vs Molina 2 fight. That really was a suprising one sided beat down.

Sosa vs Williams 1 my god that was a cracking fight, it was actually stopped because both fighters took too much punishment unbelievable. And also the 2nd fight had a pretty scary stoppage aswell as i remember.

Ive seen it on ESPN Classic a few months ago too as well as u-tube, little fuzzy though. Paz looked like a gargoyle at the end. Molina vs Lopez one of the best trilogies ever to me.

Re watched one earlier where the winner came out the distorted mess......George Foreman vs Alex Stewart! George was jabbed to death and was literally beyond recognition at the end of it but took decision.

    Resto/Collins. That cheating b1tch.

Charles/Marciano 2. Marciano won but he needed a nose job.

    Pick any Limon/Chacon fight.

Morales /Ayala. To this day I am in the dark on how he kept standing.

WHAT?? Marciano took a beating against Charles An uppercut + elbow follow-up split his nose like 2 ribbons in the 6th round. That's taking a beating?

Rocky was getting it handed to him by Walcott too before he walloped him with one of the hardest most flush punches ever landed.

Wlad Klit when he got battered for 8 rds, and only thanks to the ref and his brother for throwing in towel saved him getting KO'ed, all at the hands of David Haye.

....Ahh the visions that will accompany the stars that the then former WBA title holder will be seeing just before the smelling salts are given to wake him back up from his trip to Dreamland courtesy of Dr. Steelhammer.
