I don't know why someone said to stop using Avast...
For a free product it is awesome.... From all my years of using computers, the last 2 years of having Avast has been my most virus/issue free time ever..
I'm sure it's saved me from tonne's of crap that I would have got from dodgy websites...
And the thing I love about it, and reason I always made the decision to not bother with anti-virus in the part, is they are always so intrusive... They are a pain in the ass and get in the way all the time... But Avast is practically like you are not even running anything, until the rare time when you ACTUALLY need it... Most other programs just like the remind you all the time that they are there and running, whether they are stopping anything or not...

keep me posted CFH. if I ever get off of house arrest (ya really) , i might end up there in the fall too. you going to school?
Diz, I agree. AVG is really good too, in that it catches a lot and runs really lean and is not a resource pig. With malwarebytes as a secondary line of defence, they catch a lot of stuff. Person just needs to make sure to stay updated.
Yeah, I got accepted into the social work program at UBC in Vancouver, but I also applied to York (Toronto) and Carleton (Ottawa). There's no way I'm going to Ottawa, and I should probably go to UBC because it's one of the best schools in the world, but there's something exciting about moving to the biggest city in Canada so I haven't completely made up my mind yet. I'll likely end up in Vancouver though.
What did you do to land yourself in trouble? I'm gonna guess street fighting again?
