I desperately want Morales to get the win, but I just don't think it's going to happen. Losing the last two rounds sunk him IMO.

Yeah, very close, but the right guy probably shaded it.

I can live with the decision but a 4 round swing is absurd

116-112 a bit off imo. but no problem with Maidana taking the win. Helluva job by Morales tho and a great fight.

He thought it was a close fight, that Maidana might have won, but it wasn't a clean victory and that he feels he won. Called for a rematch. Talked about his pride, dignity, and how he fights for the people of Tijuana. Ended the interview with a Viva Mexico!

He just has a great way of phrasing things.

I just hope he calls it quits, this is already a great finale for Erik. If this fight was made when Erik was in his prime Maidana would not win a round IMO.

Against a prime Morales Maidana wouldn't have seen the third round.

Morales should just be inducted into the HOF tonight. He shouldn't even have to wait

He should have been immediately inducted after the first Barrera fight.

He is what he always was. A crude, limited pressure fighter with a ton of heart and a shit-ton of power.
