Bilbo, in regards to your opinion that you aren't convinced that Haye and Adamek are better than Chambers, Povetkin, or Thompson. I agree with you. I also agree that I would have Haye ranked above Adamek in the heavyweight rankings. Adamek has two decent wins at heavyweight, Arreola and Estrada. Haye's wins over Ruiz and Valuev are better wins. Even those wins though, aren't super impressive. The rest aren't impressive. There's a reason that Adamek didn't choose Thompson to face in preparation for Klitschko given that Thompson is huge too. Careful matchmaking.

I take your points regarding crusierweight resume's. I prefer Haye's because unifying the division means something imo. The Bell fight was bizarre. He just had a breakdown and then quit the sport, going mental chasing sparring partners through the woods with an axe. The Bell in doesn't mean a lot to me.

After Mormeck, Bell and Haye left the cruiserweight scene my opinon is that it was pretty much garbage. Marco Huck is entertaining but I have no doubts Haye would absolutely smash the snot out of him and the other guys on Cunninghams record don't mean a lot to me.

The fact that Fragommini won a world title to me shows what a weak division it is now. Both Haye and Adamek could move back down and clean up, I don't think there's much real talent in that weight class.

I agree about Adamek and Thompson. I don't think Adamek gets past him. He struggled at times and got rocked against Michael Grant. Thompson would really punish him. I feel bad for Thompson really, most hadn't heard of him before he fought Wlad, and afer that fight fat boy Bunce disgracefully labelled him gutless but Thompson earned that fight the hard way, coming into the sport late and travelling wherever to take on all challenges to get the title shot and deservedly so.

I think he's definitely capable of upsetting both Haye and Adamek, even by KO is possible. Decent fighter, under appreciated.

But Adamek's team showed they recognised the danger he posed by feeding their fighter Michael Grant instead.
